After todays performance Little Johnny is now hitting .241 with a incredible OBA of .281 and an OPS barely over the 600 mark! Keep it up little Johnny we love you here in Moronville Cleveland

Wally, your sarcasm is well below the Mendoza line of humor. Do you find no pleasure in his defensive prowess?

Sheesh, Mcreek. Did Johnny hump your old lady or something? I'm quite happy with him at 2nd. At least he makes plays that Ricky only saw on TV.

3-4 today for Johnny Mac Truck.
He's hitting .253 now, on pace for 30 doubles and 10 triples if he played the whole season, not too shabby!

If weak stick ever hit ten triples at any level i will come out to LA and kiss your A$$$
As for the rest of your projected numbers you forgot 108 K"S, ZERO HOMERS, 27 RIBBIES an impressive .297 OBA good for a 638OPS Alot of K"S for a singles hitter who has yet to drive in a run since July 31st 2002 and counting. I believe Macdonald's homerless streak is approaching Wil Corderos from last season
Sorry Swanny, John MacDonald is strictly a utilty infielder. Anyone with those putrid numbers has no business playing everyday no matter how well he fields. A .240-.250 hitter with less than a 300 OBA who strikes out at an alarming rate for a singlers hitter is a liabilty offensively. No speed ZERO Power nor capable of driving in runs is a joke. Little smurf MacDonald will however take his customary utilty role next season as my Boy Brandon Phillips a real talent takes over at secondbase. The Johnny Bobbleheads will be in mourning next year

Me thinks the point is missed.
Johnny mac is better VALUE than Ricky G's $4m per contract. Especially for a non contending team.

Here's another oddball stat. Johnny Mac gets a double or triple every 13.8 at bats! the best on the team for anyone with over a 100 at bats.
Combined with his batting average, which is higher than the team's batting average, and his excellent defense and low contract, he does not harm this team in any way.

McDonald is a good role player. I think he's better than Cabrera was. But he's not a regular. He can give guys a day off and come in a as a fielding upgrade late in the game. I think he's a keeper, but not a starter.

I don't know what exactly you mean by a union punk but he sure put a nice scab on Derek Jeter's knee breaking up a double-play.
